I saw the RBF Manager tool video on YouTube and found this tool to be very powerful and useful.
I would like to ask, can this tool be released as a standalone plugin without relying on the mGear tool?
It would be too useful if you could do this.

It would be possible to separate the tool from mGear, but many of the benefits the tool makes use of come from enforcing some kind of standard.
Naming, hierarchy, etc. But everything is open source, so please feel free to give it a try. And if you have any questions, let me know.
