Connect rig to already animated fbx export

Hello

I have rigged a Character with Mgear + exported the skeleton to an engine.

In the engine animation changes were made and i would like to re import into Maya+ connect the animated fbx file with the existing Control Rig so i can continue to make changes in Maya.

Is that possible and if yes, what is the easiest way to do it?

you will need to bake the animation form the joints to the controls before connectiong.
This workflow is not supported in mGear out of the box.
But is something I had in mind to use UE for retargetting and back to Maya to animate.
