DQ blend weights and mGear

Hi all.

I’d like to be able to rebuild my rig and as well as keeping the skin weights, I’d aslo like to rebuild the Dual Quaternion map that I painted. Is there a method for doing this in the shifter?
(I’m using mGear 3.0.4)

Hey Matt, did you try?

mgear.core.skin exportWeights() and importWeights() does save the weighted blend maps. I’m using this in our characters, and it is working fine.

Hmmm… I thought I did try this and I’m sure it wasn’t working… but now trying it again it does work… curious. User error I suspect
