Hello, dear riggers
In the animation process, I realized that the FK controls should follow the body or root instead of the hips.
I’m not sure if this makes sense to you… I think it would be helpful and relieving in some situations.
Thank you!

This sounds like a rigging task for you, not a feature request for Shifter. (Moving this to #Support
)
What’s stopping you from setting up your rig in this way? You could even set it up to have both ways. Have a hips control where the legs still follow, but include an extra hip offset that you can adjust freely if you need to fix issues.
Or add an orientation space switch so your animators can switch what the leg’s rotation follows. Similar to how the shoulder orbit control works for the arm.
@chrislesag, thanks for the advice!
I’ll do my best to make follow attributes.
I have to figure out how to automate that process since I have a lot of characters.
I know nothing about scripting, so I’ll figure out another way to speed it up.
