Eye rigger doesn't generate anything

Hello! Maybe I’m asking too much. But help if you can, please.
In mgear 2.6.1 I was able to rig an eye. Now I installed 4.0.7 and I just can’t do anything. I’m working on the most default mgear biped rig now. The two new fields we need to fill in now is static rig parent and aim controller. First, do I get it correctly that eye_L0_fk_ctl should do for aim controller? And about the static parent I just don’t know.
I saw about some setup node on this forum. That doesn’t tell me anything. Maybe someone can record a tutorial on how this works nowadays. sorry to bother you!
But I can’t figure out what to do.

Are you getting any errors or anything?

What version of Maya?

Can you please copy any errors you are getting from the script editor. You didn’t show your script editor, so it is difficult to tell what might be happening.

I want to mention. THat originally it didn’t even allow me to export config as json. This one allows everything.
