I’ve recently conducted several tests utilizing the batch bake tool to animate a custom control rig entirely made with mGear.
After importing all the FBX files, everything appeared to function smoothly. When switching the Source to the desired animation, it integrated well with the mGear rig.
However, I encountered an issue: the Batch Bake tool didn’t actually bake anything when using a custom rig (mGear). Instead, I had to manually navigate to the HIK tab and bake to the control rig for each animation/source individually.
Is there a workaround to utilize the batch bake feature for baking to the controllers in this scenario?
It’s just a test and I am very excited about the next updates for this tool.
