to illustrate with this simple case - i have a control_01 component (root) and another one as a child node. neither have anything in their Channel Host Settings. when the rig is built, an attribute for the root_C0_ctl is created in the global_C0_ctl channel box with no other attributes under it. in my rigs, i’ve been using several control_01 components for different UI settings but all of these are setting a useless attribute on the world ctl. how do i stop a control (or any other component) from creating attributes?
I usually clean that after with a custom step. But I should add a mechanism to avoid that in the future
