Hello mGear Community,
I just completed modeling work for an updated mascot character and am looking for a qualified rigger to bring it to life! The character is part of a promotional campaign I’m developing for a local Northern California company. Customers have voiced their opinions to revive their old logo and mascot and I strive to do just that. I want to give him more personality than ever before in the hopes that it will bring business back to the once-popular brand. The bigger goal in the long run is to help create a media franchise akin to Sonic the Hedgehog or Mickey Mouse (the late artist who designed the mascot almost 27 years ago wanted him to rival Mickey), with a longform original streaming series starring the iconic cartoon character being the first step.
Rig Features:
- Full-body rig with production quality
- IK/FK switches
- Squash-stretch attributes
- Facial rig containing blend shapes
- FK dynamics switch for automated control of character’s antennae
- Several facial expressions, including, but not limited to:
- Blink/Wink
- Smile
- Frown
Rigger Qualifications:
- Must be from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand
- Must have 5 years or more of experience creating rigs for major studios
- Must have bachelor’s degree or higher
- Must speak English only
- Must have worked for at least one major studio
- Must provide resume, selected studio work, or other evidence of experience to verifiy eligibility
