Length node not supported in earlier versions of maya

Hello,

I use maya 2023, and I’m sure like many others my studio is not in a position to consistently update to the newest version of maya every release. I currently am unable to mirror guides, build arms and legs, etc. because the unsupported length node.

I have been using mgear for 3 years and I really do think it is the best option for people who don’t have the resources to make their own autorig, but this recent lack of backwards compatibility is starting to become very frustrating. If I was working in a much older version of maya, I would understand, but I am barely 3 versions back.

Thanks, and let me know if this is able to be addressed.

Ah so same issue as the subtract node.

Also fyi, I still use various versions of mGear 4.xx depending on the project. And Maya 2022 mostly. If you are going to avoid upgrading (like I do) then consider keeping older versions of mGear too.

Installing via Maya.env makes it easy to switch between versions.

Just fixed in the new mGear 5.3

thank you!!! really appreciate it
