Lips/Eye rig roots outside of setup folder (solved)

Hi, this is a strange problem i haven’t seen anyone else seem to experience on this forum. Well basically, my lips/eye rig pieces aren’t building into the ‘setup’ folder in the rig. In fact my lips rig root is building into my geometry folder lol, as you can see in my outliner:

The static rig parent of the lips/both eyes is the ‘body’ mesh; is this correct? My understanding is that this creates the setup folder within the rig.

AHA ok the answer was really easy actually haha. You have to set, within your .lips and .eyes json file, the “parent node” to setup.

Yep that’s right. But you definitely shouldn’t use your body mesh as a transform parent for any rigging. (Unless you have some specific good reason.)
