Shifter FBX Exporter - Animation doesn't export

Hello everyone,

I’m trying to use the FBX Exporter to export some animation that has been baked onto the joints of my rig. I’ve set all the fields correctly and I am not exporting to Unreal.

The export appears to work and it saves out a file like you would expect. However, when I try to reopen that fbx file in a new maya nothing gets loaded into the scene.

Has anyone had a similar experience? And/or has any idea/ advise on how to export animation out correctly?

The mGear version is 5.0.5

Do you get any error or log in the script editor?
Maybe is releted to the FBX export configuration. for example is animation bake active?

I’m not getting an error in the script editor.
The animation bake is not active when I last tested it.

Try to activate Bake animation and let me know, please :slight_smile:
