I am trying to make a rig for the body of a snake and for that I followed this tutorial. It’s a Chainspring_01 component modified with the rope function.
It works as I had hoped however, every time I release the gimbal handle(Say dragging on the x-axis) and grab it again to translate, the rig returns to its original position(A stiff pole).
I could manually animate it using the controls but probably not as good looking as the rig interpolates it on its own, after some tweaking.
Is there anything I am missing here? Been looking for some hidden options that might help me but I can’t find any. Am I even using the right method for what I am trying to achieve?
