Change axes orientation after rig creation?

I’ve pretty much finished my rig and I’ve been doing animation tests with it, but in doing so discovered that a lot of my controls have tY pointing in wildly different directions. I’d like to have tY pointing world up and tZ as forward. Is there an easy way to change this without affecting the rigs itself? There’s too much stuff that I’ve done after the fact to rebuild.

Ah no, I was afraid that’d be the answer. I have so many custom things over the top that can’t be automated that I’m tempted to leave it as is, more hassle than it’s worth.
