Thanks to the mGear team for this amazing toolkit — really appreciate all the work that goes into it!
I’m trying to use an mGear Guide to generate a simple joint-based skeleton that I can export to MotionBuilder for animation.
In this case, I don’t need any NURBS controls or rig logic — just the bones properly built and ready for HIK animation.
Is there a way to:
- Build only the joints from the guide (without creating any rig controls),
- Keep the skeleton organized in a clean hierarchy, and
- Ensure the joints stay unlocked and free to animate in MotionBuilder?
Basically, I’m looking for the simplest “bones-only” build workflow for MotionBuilder.
