Creating a simple bone-only rig from mGear Guide for MotionBuilder use

Hi everyone,

Thanks to the mGear team for this amazing toolkit — really appreciate all the work that goes into it!

I’m trying to use an mGear Guide to generate a simple joint-based skeleton that I can export to MotionBuilder for animation.
In this case, I don’t need any NURBS controls or rig logic — just the bones properly built and ready for HIK animation.

Is there a way to:

  • Build only the joints from the guide (without creating any rig controls),
  • Keep the skeleton organized in a clean hierarchy, and
  • Ensure the joints stay unlocked and free to animate in MotionBuilder?

Basically, I’m looking for the simplest “bones-only” build workflow for MotionBuilder.

Found this option in Shifter > GameTools > DeleteRig + Keep Joints, which exactly does what I wanted. Thanks for having this option.
