We encountered a potential bug while building a squash_01 module in the new mgear releases. I checked and the issue is there in the latest release too. Right now while using the squash component the skinned geometry is scaling instead of squashing like in the 3.x releases. After some investigation, we found out that the scale connections in the joints changed in the new releases and this method prevents any non-uniform scaling like in the squash component (see pictures and gifs). Right now only the scaleZ of the matrixConstraint node provides the connection for the joints. This issue is in every component I think right now (only checked a handful like spine_S_shape_01). If this is something intended and we missed the purpose of this change then consider the topic invalid.
