Non standard quadrupeds?

Hello, I just wondered if there was anyway to rig non standard quad legs? example below, I tried with the default 3 joint leg but I can’t get it into the positions required, I did try unlocking the attributes but that did not work.

I appreciate any help!

Figured it out, I had to rotate the top node to face outwards, that allowed me to rotate the leg to match the model. It sounds obvious now I’ve figured it out but just wanted to post an update!
