Self Colliding Mesh


Has anyone got some experience with self collisions on meshes?

I’m thinking of making this; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=co0XlFGCU4E&t=130s, available in mgear but maybe there is a better workflow for this?


I usually go for a pure blendshape with SHAPES plugin. Mainly because is lightweight and easy to control the final shape (more artistic direction)

I ended up using smart collisions on a separate mesh and piped in the skin to keep it dynamic for mgear; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rr3FX0M78oo
