What are the pros and cons between wrap deforming eyelashes to the eyelid vs skinning them?
Is a warp deformer much slower?
yes wrap deformer is slower. I will recommend to go for skinning if you can.
I use wrap if there is not other solution or to save time in exchange of performance.
Also, a carefully crafted skinning maybe will give you better deformation.
But all depends of the situation and problem to solve
